【摘要】:Thisclassificationcoverspairsofscalesforclassifyinganaspectoftheserviceabilityofanofficefacility,thatis,thecapabilityofanofficefacilitytomeetcertainpossiblerequirementsforperformancetosupporttypicalofficeequipmentforinformationtechnology.Withinthataspectofserviceability,eachpairofscales,shownin,areforclassifyingonetopicofserviceability.EachparagraphinanOccupantRequirementScale(see)summarizesonelevelofserviceabilityonthattopic,whichoccupantsmightrequire.ThematchingentryintheFacilityRatingScale(see)isatranslationoftherequirementintoadescriptionofcertainfeaturesofafacilitywhich,takenincombination,indicatethatthefacilityislikelytomeetthatlevelofrequiredserviceability.TheentriesintheFacilityRatingScale(see)areindicativeandnotcomprehensive.Theyareforquickscanningtoestimateapproximately,quickly,andeconomically,howwellanofficefacilityislikelytomeettheneedsofoneoranothertypeofoccupantgroupovertime.Theentriesarenotformeasuring,knowing,orevaluatinghowanofficefacilityisperforming.Thisclassificationcanbeusedtoestimatethelevelofserviceabilityofanexistingfacility.Itcanalsobeusedtoestimatetheserviceabilityofafacilitythathasbeenplannedbutnotyetbuilt,suchasoneforwhichsingle-linedrawingsandoutlinespecificationshavebeenprepared.Thisclassificationindicateswhatwouldcauseafacilitytoberatedatacertainlevelofserviceabilitybutdoesnotstatehowtoconductaserviceabilityratingnorhowtoassignaserviceabilityscore.ThatinformationisfoundinPracticeE1334.Thescalesinthisclassificationarecomplimentaryto,andcompatiblewith,PracticesE1334andE1679.Eachrequirestheother.
