【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversageneralclassificationsystemforcrosslinkableethyleneplasticscompounds(Note1).Therequirementsspecifiedhereinarenotnecessarilyapplicableforuseascriteriaindeterminingsuitabilityfortheenduseofafabricatedproduct.Note18212;Itistobenotedthatthisspecificationdescribesmaterialsthatareavailablecommerciallyintheiruncrosslinkedform.Therefore,theyarecrosslinkablecompoundsdespitethefactthatmeasurementoftheparametersusedfortheirclassificationandspecificationwillusuallybecarriedoutaftercuringhasbeeneffected.1.2Twotypesofcompoundsarecovered,namely,mechanicaltypesinwhichmechanicalstrengthpropertiesareofprimeimportanceinapplications,andelectricaltypesinwhichelectricalinsulatingorconductingpropertiesalsoareofprimeimportanceinapplications.1.3Theparametersusedtoclassifyandspecifythemechanicaltypesareultimateelongation,elongationretentionafteraging,apparentmodulusofrigidity,andbrittlenesstemperature.1.4Theparametersusedtoclassifyandspecifytheelectricaltypesareultimateelongation,elongationretentionafteraging,apparentmodulusofrigidity,brittlenesstemperature,dielectricconstant,dissipationfactor,andvolumeresistivity.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.6Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section7,ofthisspecification:Thisspecificationdoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisspecificationtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note28212;ThereisnoknownISOequivalenttothisstandard.
