【摘要】:SeveraltestmethodsarenotedforviscositydeterminationofNewtonianandnearNewtonianflowcharacteristics.(Foradhesivesnotfittingintothiscategory,TestMethodD2556shouldbeconsidered.)Fourtestmethodsarecoveredasfollows:MethodAisapplicableonlytoadhesivesthatwilldeliver50mLinasteadyuninterruptedstreamfromoneofthecupsdescribedinSection5.MethodBisintendedformeasuringtheviscosityofadhesivescoveringarangefrom0.05Pax00B7;sto200Pax00B7;s(50to200000cP)andislimitedtomaterialsthathaveorapproachNewtonianflowcharacteristics.MethodCisintendedprimarilyasacontrolmethodfordeterminingtheviscosityofadhesivesthathaveorapproachNewtonianflowcharacteristics.MethodDisintendedprimarilyasacontrolmethodfordeterminingtheviscosityofmaterialsthathaveanequivalentviscositynogreaterthanapproximately3000cPandislimitedtomaterialsthathaveorapproachNewtonianflowcharacteristics.1.1Thesetestmethodscoverthedeterminationoftheviscosityoffree-flowingadhesives.1.1.1Thelimitationofthistestmethodtoself-levelingadhesiveseliminatesthixotropicandplasticmaterialswhoseviscosityisafunctionoftherateofstirringandprevioushistoryoftheadhesive.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
